It’s the ultimate woo plant. 

There really isn’t much more sacred or rare cactus. Peyote Cactus played a huge role in the spiritual ceremonies of the indigenous North American and Mexican people.
It’s outlawed in most countries, including its own natural environment. Luckily, some states of Australia allow Aussie rare plant lovers to own and grow them.

It’s also fast becoming extinct in its natural environment. Farming, land clearing and illegal poaching has decimated the natural populations of Peyote in North America and Mexico.

We started Woo Plant to raise awareness for the plight of this beautiful plant. We’d love Australians, who live in States where it’s legal to own Peyote, to grow a plant and help save them from extinction.

Notes

Our buttons are grown from seed by Aussie cactus growers. They feature developed root systems and are disease free. Some might have marks and wrinkles, but so do we.

Fun fact

Peyote is a slow growing plant. One of the slowest. They take a good decade to hit full maturity. A good rule of thumb is that they grow roughly one centimeter each year. Seriously.
