Trichocereus Hybrid Cactus - Small 5-10cm High

Mythical. Magical... for Millennia.

Trichocereus Cacti were uitilised ceremonially for thousands of years across South America. Many people today know them under the broad slang name, San Pedro, which is used to cover a range of plants including the Pachanoi, Bridgesii and Peruvian.

These cacti played a huge role in ancient cultures, like the Chavin, which is considered the birthplace of Peruvian civilisation. Monolithic structures at Chavín de Huántar are decorated with art depicting the ceremonial use of these cacti.

Our Hybrid Trichocereus Cacti are bred crossing the genetics of sacred cactus from Peru, such as the Trichocereus Peruvianus, Bridgesii and Pachanoi.

Notes

Think of these as teenagers. They’re ready to grow, and love food (light and water). Our Trichocereus cactus is grown from seed by local Aussie growers. They’re healthy and tough as nails, with a big root system. Some of them might have blemishes, but none of us are perfect.

Fun Fact

They grow tall and are covered in spined, but these cacti also produce big, bold and beautiful flowers. Most of them will only flower at night though.
